Mega-project NEOM has revealed plans for its most ambitious community yet along Saudi Arabia northern Gulf of Aqaba coastline. Called Jaumur, the new luxury coastal development will offer an ultra-exclusive lifestyle to residents and visitors amid natural scenery.
Spread over an expansive area, Jaumur has been master planned to accommodate more than 6,000 residents. At its heart will be a stunning 1.5km marina serving as the focal point. According to NEOM, the floating community will feature 500 waterfront apartments and nearly 700 luxury villas with private marina access.
Two high-end hotels with a total of 350 rooms and suites will round off the accommodation options. The hotels promise “breathtaking views” and modern facilities for relaxation and watersports. A striking architectural feature, a 1.5km long aerofoil structure, will rise above the marina, providing sheltered berths for yachts all year round.
NEOM board chairman says Jaumur will set the gold standard for sustainability and livability in future cities. A range of premium amenities has been envisioned, including an international school, retail and dining promenade, and a marine research centre. The development aims to establish NEOM as a global hub for oceanic studies.
When complete, Jaumur will add a significant number of luxury residential units to NEOM’s growing portfolio. It reflects the developer’s vision of creating cosmopolitan communities integrated with nature and technology. Residents of Jaumur can look forward to living amid some of Saudi Arabia’s most stunning coastal scenery.
