The developers in Abu Dhabi are working on 45 new projects, with most of them centered on Yas Island, along with other major locations in the emirate, official data shows.
As stated by recent statistics from the Dari platform of Abu Dhabi Municipality, 33 of these projects initiated within the first nine months of 2024 alone will deliver close to 9,300 housing units. The rest will be residential and commercial plots, service, and administrative buildings that also contribute to the infrastructure in the city.
At the forefront of these is Aldar Properties, which undertakes eight major projects with over 3,300 homes, villas, and apartments. This includes five developments on Saadiyat Island and two on Yas Island, both key areas that keep on securing high-end investments.
Meanwhile, Bloom Properties is developing three projects that will add more than 1,100 villas to the market. On its part, contributing to two projects that will deliver a total of 984 villas, Modon Company underlines the demand for spacious and high-quality living areas within the emirate.
Other well-known developers like SAAS Properties, Baniyas Investment and Development Company, Ohana Development, and Baraka Development are similarly active, thus assuring a diversified portfolio of residential options for Abu Dhabi’s growing population.
Ongoing projects underline Abu Dhabi determination to increase its housing supply in response to soaring demand from a growing population and international investors alike. Appealing with its premium locations, such as Yas and Saadiyat Islands, this city is going to receive more attraction for luxury lifestyles and long-term investments.
