Speedex Group is a Dubai-based conglomerate that has been shaping the wholesale and retail industries since 1991. Founded by Mr. Moiz Tayebali Lokhandwala, this company started as a humble hardware store in Deira and evolved into a truly diversified group, with several divisions. As an integral part of this very long journey towards UAE growth and progress over three decades, Speedex Group has come quite a long way. The company began as a simple hardware store and has become a conglomerate with different divisions. The promise of Speedex Group remains unbroken in the areas of quality, innovation, and sustainability.

Speedex Group was the first player Among the DIY companies to introduce the concept to the emirate and opened its first DIY retail store in Ajman in 1999. Speedex Group now has superstores located at Al Quoz, Dubai Investment Park, and an outlet in Circle Mall, JVC. Speedex has become a household name in the country and a great favorite among DIY enthusiasts. The new business arm of Speedex Group became operational in 2018 with the establishment of UNS Farms to supply fresh food products to the UAE market and reduce imports.

Well, the farm grows leafy greens and microgreens under hydroponics and boasts one of the largest operational indoor vertical farms in the region. Over 65,000 sq. ft of space is under production. In 2023, Speedex Group unveiled Symbolic, a boutique real estate development firm focusing solely on the high-end segment of the market. Symbolic’s continued aims and objectives include bringing families together in community living enriched with value.
