About Dubai Canal

Dubai canal is a 3.2 km long a remarkable waterway, stretches from Creek in Old Dubai to the Arabian Gulf through Business Bay. It’s a man-made canal which construction began in 2013 and ended in 2016. Designed by AE7 Architects and planners. The canal starts from Business Bay into the Persian Gulf through Safa Park and Jumeirah. The width of the canal ranges from 80m (260 ft) to 120 m (390 ft). It is 6 m (20ft) deep and can be crossed by 8 m (26 ft) high bridges.

The community has a total 80,000 m2 private marina for boats and trade. Dubai Canal cross 3 pedestrian as well as bicycle bridges namely – Dubai Water Canal Bridge, Twisted Bridge also known as Bridge of Tolerance.
