It was the first-ever skyscraper with a 90-degrees twist when it was opened to the public in 2013.

It was deemed to be the tallest residential tower in the country of the United States, until the development of 43 Park Avenue in the neighborhood. One57 comprises of 75 floors and houses 92 units along with a Park Hyatt Hotel having 200 rooms approximately. The floor space of this residential building in Manhattan is 8,53, 567sq.mtrs approximately. The building was constructed by the Extell Development Company and designed by the famous architect Christian De Portzamparc.
